WILMETTE PHOTOGRAPHER CAPTURING FAMILIES IN & AROUND THE NORTHSHORE OF CHICAGO
What are we doing for fun?
Easter is coming in just over a week.
If you are like me you may not always prepare for it (aka find yourself searching the Friday before for egg dying kits and white eggs to dye). While I know not everyone celebrates Easter, I have a feeling a lot of you around Chicago Northshore are celebrating spring.
I won’t lie, I will miss the snow, but as my spring is booking up with more sessions I am excited to be seeing everyone again in a nice comfortable outdoor setting.
To get me more in the mood for losing the beautiful snow, I do like to do that traditional easter egg hunt for my kids. But, right now I feel like we don’t need anymore candy events. So, I have been coming up with different ideas for treats.
Some ideas for those Easter or Spring Baskets and egg hunts.
Photo Prints
My kids love having a photo in their hand. For the longest time I would get discouraged about creating these amazing photos for my kids and when I showed it to them on the screen they were like eh ok cool. But, then I started printing out the photos now they are like super cool trading cards between my kids. They cannot get enough of them. This also makes me question how I have been doing photo albums (but I will save that for another blog).
Photo Magnets
Small photo albums
Stickers I recently found some amazing rainbow creating stickers from Nice Lena and Friends in Evanston, IL and LoveLane Designs online.
Easter Eggs filled with puzzle pieces or craft pieces. As they collect them it is a project to do after as well.
Nail Polish
Face paint
Temporary Tattoos
Any fun ideas that fill your spring baskets? And, while you are here – does anyone know how to dye brown eggs?
