San Francisco – California
I am lucky to have an amazingly understanding husband. We have been together for over seven years now. This means he had been incredibly understanding from the moment I told him I wanted to go to Kenya, Africa to teach at an orphanage. The first time was a short nine months after we started dating. Here we are again, six years later. This time just a few short 2 months after we got hitched and he is again understanding and fully supporting my decision to go to Tanzania and repeat my crazy desires.
I have been in love with photography since I was introduced to it at the age of twelve at a YMCA Camp Eberhart. I had some amazing Camp Counselors that taught me the ins and outs of a camera, film, processing in a darkroom (yes, actual film, chemicals, and paper). As I moved in to high school, Libertyville High School had an amazing art program and I was able to refine my skills under the instructions of some amazing teachers in photography and graphic arts.
There have been so many people in my life supporting my rise to where I am now with my photo career and abilities. I would like to thank each and everyone. So, if you are one of them, Thank you!
